Letter From the Director Welcome to the first publication of the Greene County Soccer Association Handbook online! The Department of Parks and Recreation is extremely excited to offer this publication to the participants of our Soccer League. It is the mission of the Greene County Soccer Association to promote and foster learning in a fun and positive way. I would like to thank the Army National Guard for their contribution to our Community Park over the summer months. Their hard work and dedication in construction our new soccer fields will allow our league to develop and expand in the years to come. We will begin play on our new fields in the spring of 2001. I would also like to thank this seasons soccer sponsors! Their contribution, along with the help of the Votec Center Building Trade students, will provide us with a much needed equipment storage building at the Community Park. The program is rapidly expanding and because of this, the association is in desperate need of volunteers to donate their time, energy and resources to help bring this program to the next level.
