Jefferson Area Board for the Aging, or JABA, is dedicated to providing services to the aging and their families. There are 2 Aging Service Coordinators that work here in Greene, Dottie Scott and Jennifer White. The Senior Center is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 until 1:00, lunch is served. The Senior Center Director is Judy Berger, phone number for the Senior Center is 434-985-2047. Aging Service Coordinators provide assessment for low income senior citizens and assistance in locating resources that help promote health and independence. This includes JABA programs such as the Senior Center, home delivered meals and ensure, loans of medical equipment, home safety and repair as well as providing Adult Day Health care on Tuesday - Friday from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm.
