| When is a Permit Needed
|
If you are purchasing property, you want to make sure the property has septic approval from the Health Department. If the property is not septic approved, there are several options available to you through the Health Department (434-985-5228). Once you are ready to construct a new residence on your property, you will need to purchase a building permit. When you visit our office at 40 Celt Road, Room 226, to apply for the permit, you will need to bring the following information with you. Your Building Permit will be issued once the following has taken place:
