The Greene County Ordinance and Virginia State Law allows for an agreement in lieu of a formal erosion and sediment control plan for construction activities associated with the construction of a single family home and its accessory structures.  IF this agreement is not adhered to by the property owner, a formal plan can be required.  The “Agreement in Lieu of an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan for Construction of a Single Family Residence and/or Accessory Structure” shall be submitted with the Building Permit Application.
